Prof Adeyinka Ashaye(MBBS,FMCOphth, FWACS,MSc Community Eye Health). Retired Professor of Ophthalmology, University of Ibadan.
Medical Director , Consultant Ophthalmologist, Glaucoma Specialist and Community Eye Health Specialist. Adeyinka Ashaye graduated as a medical Doctor from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan ,Nigeria in 1976 .She was awarded the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree in that year. She had her residency training in Ophthalmology at the University College Hospital, Ibadan and received the Fellowship of the National Postgraduate College and the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons.
She has over 40 years experience in Comprehensive Ophthalmology and is a passionate glaucoma Specialist, led a team of dedicated glaucoma Specialists at the University College Hospital until her retirement in 2022. Prof Ashaye is a passionate trainer of undergraduate and postgraduate students of Ophthalmology and a thorough clinician.
She is an well known researcher internationally.
She has published many articles in highly reputable journals.
He was the foundation President of the Glaucoma Society of Nigeria and member of the Ophthalmological Society of Nigeria.
Her vision is to provide excellent eye care with a state of the art equipment for every patient she sees.
